I know you can and probably should look beyond the aesthetics of a house and garden but the thought of the upheaval of moving and then facing the daunting task of renovations and landscaping, not for me... no thank you, I would rather pay the extra on the cost and move in and enjoy! If you visit a property that looks scruffy or untidy on the outside it would put you off going in to look at the house itself. Also the property had been on the market for about 6 months first time round. After the garden revamp it sold on the second viewing at full asking price!
